Finnmark and Lapland near the Russian border experience recurring GPS jamming, regularly reported by Norwegian and Finnish authorities and by airline crews.

How to read these figures
The region is divided into hexagonal areas of about 1,770 km². For every hour, the monitor checks which share of the aircraft in each area reported degraded GNSS integrity (NIC) via ADS-B. An area-hour counts as affected when that share exceeds the threshold and enough aircraft were present. Spoofing indications are impossible position jumps and large GNSS/barometric altitude differences. These are heuristic indicators — see how the map works for details and limitations.
